16. Transforming Young Leaders with Luz Canino-Baker
In this episode, I am honored to be joined by Luz Canino-Baker (she/her) ~ Founder of Latinas on the Plaza ~ a non-profit organization providing mentoring, leadership, + empowerment opportunities to young women of color.
Luz shares about Latinas on the Plaza's programming + foundation of work. We chat about the importance of cultural representation in the workplace, her story of engaging in transformational leadership practices, + what it's like to be inspirational mentors to youth in the Latino community. She reflects on the beauty of witnessing transformation in young women of color with the measure of "they come quiet + leave loud".
We hope you enjoy the conversation! We also hope you tune in this Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at 7 PM CT for Transforming to benefit this incredible organization. SheWolf's virtual series info + tickets can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/swsvps
